By participating in the Variant Beta, you agree to the following:

1. content ownership & license

• You own the ideas and content you create on Variant.
• By creating and sharing content on Variant, you grant Variant Labs, Inc. a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and remix that content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the platform.

2. responsibility for content

• You are solely responsible for the content you create.
• You agree not to post anything illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Variant reserves the right to remove or restrict content that violates these rules.

3. use of ai-generated content

• Content generated with Variant’s AI tools may be unexpected, imperfect, or experimental.
• By using the platform, you agree that Variant is not responsible for how generated content may appear or be interpreted.
• You agree not to use AI-generated content for misleading, defamatory, or harmful purposes.

4. no commercial use during beta

• The Beta is for testing and feedback only.
• You may not sell, license, or commercially exploit content created on Variant during the Beta without written permission.

5. feedback

• Any feedback, suggestions, or improvements you share may be used by Variant freely to improve the platform.
• Feedback does not create any obligation of compensation.

6. termination

• Variant may suspend or terminate your Beta access at any time if you violate these terms or misuse the platform.

7. disclaimer

• The Beta is provided “as is” without warranties.
• Variant is not liable for damages or losses related to your use of the platform.
